My work and process currently revolves around personal contemplations on queerness, identification, diaspora, memories, Hong Kong, impulsivity, desperation, desires and anti-perfectionism.

They often take the modes of moving images, sounds and publications.

Outside of my practice, I like sleeping under the sun and swimming in the ocean.

In Search of Disappearance

In Search of Disappearance takes the form of a diarystic film. As it traverses through the streets and motions of London, the video searches for the transient auratic moments that only really lives in the recollections of quotidian Hong Kong. A city ridden with extensive colonial history, with almost no pre-colonial past to speak of. What would it then mean to search for memories of home in a city that bears the blueprint of British colonialism? With a rejection to disentangle, dissect, nor give its postcolonial negotiations linearity, the video searches frantically, tangentially meets, but ultimately fails to find and locate the comfort of home and its memory.
